Synopsis:
Johnny Chambers and Tubby are scooped by a pair of rival newsreelers. When Johnny's film is ruined twice, his boss fires him. Johnny suspects that the rivals have been staging crimes and using their newsreel jobs as a cover. Johnny and Tubby apply for jobs with the rivals, but when Johnny's theory proves correct, the crooks capture them. Johnny escapes and prevents their latest theft. Tubby catches the action of newsreel. The film helps the duo regain their old jobs.
