Synopsis:
The Blackhawks rescue a family from a diamond monster that is attacking their home. The Blackhawks trail the monster, but lose it in the woods. They do find a man they later identify as Guy Masters, a miner that is presumed dead.
Blackhawk speculates the Masters is the monster and he is attacking his former miners. When the creature strikes again it is composed of sulphur. The Blackhawks rescue the intended victim, but the creature escapes again.
Finally the team splits up, with half the group protecting a third miner, and the other group investigating the mine. When Masters shows up to attack the guarded miner, the Blackhawks chase him off. He then transforms into a meteorite substance. The Blackhawks chase him back to the mine, where a gas responsible for his transformations, reverts him to normal with no memory of his attacks.
