Synopsis:
While skiing in the Austrian Alps, the Blackhawks receive a distress call from inside the Earth. Chuck, Hendrickson, and Olaf enter a cavern to locate the source of the distress signal. They discover a Nazi prison guarded by lava men. The trio is captured, but they get a message to Blackhawk with Blackie's help.

The lava men attack a nearby village. Blackhawk has gotten the village evacuated before the assault. He and Stanislaus disguise themselves as lava men and return to the prison. Once inside they free their comrades, capture the Nazi leader, and destroy the cavern with the lava men inside.
