Comments:
This is a Detached Service Diary story featuring Stanislaus. Blackhawk only appears as a narrator.

Synopsis:
Stanislaus travels to Russia where he meets Soviet Field Marshal Svineena. While not officially at war with Germany yet, the Soviets are preparing for war. Stanislaus suspects a Nazi agent has infiltrated Svineena's unit, but the Soviet leader claims it to be impossible. When the unit is fired upon by the Germans, their own weapons are jammed. Stanislaus leads them and their commander to safety.

Svineena then survives an attempt to poison him. Stan uses the attack to find the identity of the spy by giving food to each of the men. The man who doesn't eat it is found as the spy. Stanislaus also proves to Svineena that it is important to treat his men well.
