Comments:
This is a Detached Service Diary story.

Synopsis:
Following the Nazi invasion of France, one small village still holds out. That town has named itself La Resistance. With the Blackhawks help, the town has survived several attacks. However, Allied command does not see the town as strategic. When the Allies stop providing supplies, the Blackhawks are forced to inform the townspeople. They are evacuated and merged with the occupied towns nearby. The Nazis then succeed in destroying the town, but not its people.
