Synopsis:
Superman returns to Metropolis following a mission and discovers that everyone in the city has forgotten him. Even his friends at the Daily Planet fail to recognize him. Mr. Mxyztplk then appears and claims credit for the mass amnesia. Superman tries to convince the people of Metropolis of his powers, but the imp uses his powers to make the Man of Steel appear to be a phony. Mxyztplk then plans to return home where he is running for President of the Anti-Superman Club. Before his nemesis can leave, Superman tricks him into saying his name backwards. Mxyztplk then agrees to remove the amnesia spell before returning home.
