Synopsis:
Dream Girl leads a team of Legionnaires into space after she forsees an impending attack. A ship filled with mercenaries hired by Starfinger arrives as predicted and penetrates Earth's defense shield. The Legion lets the ship land, then apprehends the invaders with the help of Star Boy who has stayed on Earth following Superboy's funeral.
Polar Boy and three other Legionnaires go to his home planet Tharr where Starfinger has been sabotaging mining operations as part of a blackmail scheme. The Legion protects the workers and repair the damage caused by Starfinger.
The interstellar crime lord is angered by the Legion's interference. He uses a solar powered satellite to launch a direct attack on Legion Headquarters. The Legion fights off the attack, then they destroy the satellite. Starfinger is further enraged by the super-heroes.
