History:
Famed as the Maestro of the Blade throughout all of Southern California in the early days of the 19th Century, the man known only as Don Caballero lived on a large hacienda in the small community of Hawk Hill, wielding his legendary sword El Capitan in the cause of justice. In the course of his career, Don Caballero battled desert pirates, the seeming ghost of the villainous swordsman El Fuego, and the looter called the Jackal, among other. Though the master swordsman was looked upon as a hero by the people of Hawk Hill, Don Caballero's true name and his reasons for emigrating from Spain to California were never revealed and remain a mystery to this day.

Powers:
A superior athlete and hand-to-hand combatant, Don Caballero's greatest skill was his consummate mastery of the sword he called El Capitan, though where he learned this skill is unknown. Don Caballero was also a highly skilled horseman and rode a great white stallion named Cabello.
