Synopsis:
The conspiracy within the Legion escalates. Duo Damsel informs Saturn Girl and Brainiac 5 that Tellus has learned of Saturn Girl's involvement telepathically. Brainiac 5 suspects that Sensor Girl might also be a problem. He hopes that their plan is nearly ready now that he has completed work on a necessary machine. Mon-El is gathering a power source for it, a white dwarf star which he brings to Earth. Brainiac 5's machine is unable to handle all the power provided by the star. As a result Legion Headquarters is damaged. Mon-El and Blok then remove the white dwarf and take it into space.
Meanwhile, Chameleon Boy continues his infiltration of Starfinger's organization. He learns of a new weapon designed to target Legionnaires. He, as Reefej, is dispatched to steal a Legion flight ring. Cham breaks into Science Police headquarters to make an imperfect duplicate of his own ring, but he is discovered before he can complete the process. Reefej returns to Starfinger empty-handed only to discover that another ring has been provided by the invalid Doctor Hazeg. Cham recognizes Hazeg as a disguised Colossal Boy.
