Synopsis:
Following the destruction of his lab, Rip Hunter receives new funding from Cave Carson. He also sends his cousin Dan Hunter back to the 18th Century to stop a plot to replace George Washington with an imposter, Adam Weishaupt. Dan meets Tomahawk and together they stop a group of renegades from killing Washington. However, unknown to Dan, Weishaupt has succeeded at replacing Washington.
Following his adventure in the past, Dan decides to stay permanently. Tomahawk agrees to keep an eye on him. Meanwhile, back in the present, Rip realizes that Dan failed to alter the timeline. After Booster Gold and Animal Man borrow a time machine, Rip plans to send Antonia after the Holy Grail.
