Synopsis:
After losing a fortune gambling in 1933, a German named Krueg attempts suicide. He is prevented by a deal from Mr. Bleak, the head of the casino. Bleak agrees to give Krueg ten years of fortune in exchange for his soul. Krueg agrees to the deal, not believing Bleak is really Satan.
After ten years, Krueg has risen to the rank of general for the German army. He realizes that Bleak's offer was real and that Satan will be collecting soon. In an attempt to win protection, General Krueg surrenders his unit to the Commandos.
Krueg tells Rip and the boys his story, but they don't believe it. They promise to guard him until midnight when Krueg's debt is due. When an English party-goer happens by in a devil costume, the boys jump him. The real Bleak uses the opportunity to exact his debt on Krueg. The boys find the German has been killed, and Rip finds a statement indicating that Satan has taken his soul.
