Synopsis:
The Sandman battles Little Joe Grolich and his gang. The boss flees the scene and takes refuge through an open window leading to the bedroom of young Bobby Beecham. Being of short stature, Grolich is able to put on Bobby's clothes. When he leaves the house, the Sandman mistakes him for a youngster.

Bobby awakens to find Grolich's clothing. He dreamed of new clothes delivered by the Sandman and believes that his dream came true. He puts on the clothes and goes outside, where the Sandman thinks he is the crook.

In the ensuing confusion Grolich kidnaps Bobby. The boy feels it is his fault that the crook is escaping, so he causes their car to crash. Bobby returns home in shredded clothing, while the Sandman finishes off Grolich. Bobby's father is angry and prepares to give his son a beating. The Sandman then arrives with a new set of clothes for Bobby. The boy's father is proud to learn that his son helped stop the crooks.
