Synopsis:
An artificial eclipse causes Bruce Gordon to once again transform into Eclipso. The transformation is temporary, but during that time Eclipso builds a robot to act for him. When Bruce returns to normal, he uses an atom smasher in an experiment. Eclipso has rigged the machine to explode and activate the Eclipso robot.

Bruce and Professor Bennett chase the robot, but become trapped inside a hot box. To escape, they create another temporary eclipse by blocking out the lights. Bruce transforms again and frees himself from the room. Eclipso then defeats the now malfunctioning robot, before reverting to his Bruce Gordon form.
