Synopsis:
The Boy Commandos led by Rip Carter trail an assassin through the streets of Europe. They finally catch up to him in a cavern outside Rome. The killer starts a rockslide which temporarily knocks out the team.

When the group regains consciousness, they exit the cave and discover themselves in ancient Rome. They witness a man being attacked by soldiers, so they pitch in to help him. The man, Caius, seeks to win his girlfriend back from Nero the Emporer.

The Boy Commandos assist Caius, but they are defeated. Nero forces them to fight in the arena. The Commandos convince the other gladiators to rebel and overcome Nero. Caius is reunited with Prima, his girlfriend. Next the Commandos return to the cave where they are returned to their own time.
