Synopsis:
While vacationing at a ski lodge, the Elongated Man is asked to help solve a mystery involving robberies committed by a thief believed to have stretching abilities. Ralph investigates the robberies and concludes that the thief might not have stretching powers at all. When a third robbery occurs, Ralph deduces that it was a phony. The alleged victim is the real thief, but he neglected to plant evidence to support the crime. Ralph tracks down and apprehends the crook, who is an inventor that used a fishing pole with a weighted end to fake the elongated crimes.
