Synopsis:
Batgirl escapes from a room full of land mines. She then tracks down Mal, a militant terrorist who has been bombing Gotham landmarks. Mal is being paid by Slavin, a land owner, who wants the old buildings out of the way. When Batgirl arrives she confronts Mal. He tries to shoot her, but his girlfriend Shelley takes the bullet instead. Batgirl finishes off the gang, then rushes Shelley to the hospital. Although Shelley does not change her views about the establishment, she now accepts Batgirl.
