Synopsis:
When Superman confronts Carl Denby, a banker, about his criminal past, Andy Hoops overhears the conversation. Denby proves to Superman that he has reformed, so the Man of Steel agrees to keep Denby’s past a secret. Hoops then blackmails Superman by threatening to reveal Denby’s past.

Superman performs several tasks for Hoops, but the boy proves to be a showoff and loses his ill-gotten gains. When crooks discover his link to Superman, they threaten Andy. He stands up to them, realizing the errors of his ways. Superman tries to rescue Andy, but the crooks are able to shoot and kill him, taking Denby’s secret with him.
