Synopsis:
Superboy pretends to be hypnotized into giving people super powers. He gives one boy X-ray vision, another super-strength, and another flight. He then must use his powers to assist them in using their powers constructively. When Superboy gives Lana Lang super-speed, but without invulnerable clothes, the friction sets her on fire. She must spend the rest of the day in the bathtub.
The reason for giving away powers is that Clark Kent was shot by some crooks. Using his scheme, he is able to convince them that Clark was given invulnerability by Superboy. Superboy, then, catches the crooks.
