Synopsis:
Mr. Hoglett, a steel mill owner, hires men to steal secrets from a competitor. The men are unable to steal the experimental alloy, but they set fire to the mill. Mr. Baker, the owner of the mill, has kept a cylinder of the new alloy with him, but he loses it during the fire.

Baker offers a reward to anyone finding it. Hoglett also offers a reward to his men to steal it. Vigilante and Stuff find the cylinder, but crooks confront them. The cylinder is mixed with a shipment of iron ore. Both Vigilante and the thieves chase the cylinder. Vigilante eventually finds it, using a magnet. In the process, Hoglett's corrupt plans are exposed.
