Synopsis:
Jimmy helps to capture several members of the notorious Purple Gang, but the loot from their latest jewel theft cannot be found. Over the next several days other members of the gang create major news stories drawing the attention of Superman and Jimmy in the Flying Newsroom. Jimmy realizes the crooks hid the jewels in the Flying Newsroom. The crooks catch him after he finds the jewels, but Jimmy tricks them into summoning Superman with his signal watch.
