Synopsis:
Eddie Beaugard is an actor famous for playing tough guy roles. However, in real life, Eddie is a coward. When he witnesses a murder by gang boss King Koll, Eddie becomes the target of Koll's gang who wish to eliminate the man who can testify against their boss.

Batman and Robin impersonate Beaugard and his son in order to protect the actor. They catch several members of the gang before their disguises no longer work. Eventually the crime-fighters face the remaining members of the gang at a movie studio. Eddie shows newly found courage to assist the Dynamic Duo in capturing them.

At Koll's trial, the crook is convicted. He tries to escape by grabbing a gun from a guard. He shoots Batman, wounding him. Eddie displays heroism by stopping Koll and bringing him to justice.
