Synopsis:
An accident in Ray Palmer’s lab causes a phantom version of Ray to materialize. The phantom possesses all of Ray’s memories and wishes to become real. While the real Ray pursues some crooks as the Atom, his phantom double develops a method to become solid and in so doing destroy his counterpart.
The phantom Atom follows the real one and tries to use an opal ring to exchange places with his counterpart. The real Atom foils his plan, destroying the ring in a fire. Then he breaks the phantom’s size controls, leaving his double to shrink out of existance.
