Synopsis:
The Viking Prince sets out on a quest to find a rare feather. While crossing an ice field, Jon falls into a crevasse which leads to an underground river. He is saved from the icy depths by a mermaid who carries him out to sea. In the ocean, he protects the mermaid from a killer whale. Jon is then picked up by a girl from a nearby island.

The Viking Prince returns with the girl to her island which is threatened by an erupting volcano. He protects her village by damming a lava flow. Then Jon battles a firebird inside the volcano. Jon prevails and captures one of the bird's feathers which will complete his quest. He then returns north to his homeland, aided by the mermaid.
