Synopsis:
Absent-minded astronomy instructor Professor Starr constructs a rocket ship capable of space travel. While giving a tour to his students, he accidentally launches the rocket with himself and Clark Kent inside. The rocket carries them to the moon where they meet a race of telepathic mimic creatures. Some of the creatures begin mimicing Superboy, causing the professor to deduce that Clark is the Boy of Steel.

Superboy rescues the professor from a moon creature, then the two return to Earth. The professor intends to reveal Superboy's identity to the world. He calls a press conference, but the absent-minded professor forgets the details. Superboy's secret remains safe, and the world does not learn about the moon trip either.
