Synopsis:
Tubby Watts is recruited for an eating contest by Bright Guy Bannigan. Bannigan's real plan is to fatten Tubby up so that he resembles Bannigan's partner, Blimp. Johnny is suspicious of Bannigan and keeps Tubby from gaining weight until he learns Bannigan's scheme. When Tubby finally puts on the weight, Blimp replaces him during the photographing of a rare book collection. Bannigan and Blimp plan to steal the books, but Johnny has deduced their plan and catches them in the act.
