Superboy saves three teenagers after their own carelessness nearly causing them harm. Each of the three boys fails to heed Superboy's advice to be more cautious. Frustrated, the Boy of Steel returns home where his mother reminds him of a time when his lack of caution nearly caused a disaster to the town of Smallville.
Superboy decides that he should be more patient with the boys. He then arranges to teach them a lesson about exercising caution. His lessons pay off, as the boys finally realize the harm that their careless actions could cause.
