Synopsis:
Crime boss Ten-Pin Foley launches a scheme to conduct crime while Superboy is occupied. Deducing that the Boy of Steel is a student at Smallville High School, he tricks the science teacher into putting the class through a telepathy experiment. The entire class is fitted with lead helmets, preventing Superboy from using his vision powers.

While the experiment is going on, Ten-Pin's gang commits robberies. Superboy is able to get out of class and stop the robberies without anyone seeing that he is wearing the helmet.

On the last robbery Ten-Pin places one of his men in the classroom to watch the students. Superboy is able to create a distraction which allows him to leave the room. He stops the robbery, captures Ten-Pin, and returns to the room before his secret identity can be exposed.
