Synopsis:
Hiram Brownlee comes to Metropolis from the town of Turnip Center to enlist the aid of Superman. Hiram meets Clark Kent, who arranges a meeting with the Man of Steel. Hiram wants Superman to melt a mountain glacier that is keeping the town of Turnip Center from thriving. Reluctantly Superman agrees to remove the glacier.

After moving the glacier, Hiram continues asking for favors. Superman has finally had enough and returns to Metropolis. Some time later, he checks up of Turnip Center which is now threatened by floods which are the result of the missing mountain glacier. Superman restores the glacier to save the town. Despite the bad result of the previous favors, Hiram begins asking for more, in vain.
