This story is later recycled in the first story of Adventure Comics #290.

Synopsis:
Ralph Bridgson escapes from a boys' reformatory and makes his way to Smallville. He quickly discovers that he looks exactly like Clark Kent. When the real Clark is away on a mission as Superboy, Ralph pretends to be Clark. His act even fools the Kents, who then unintentionally reveal Superboy's secret identity to Ralph.

When Superboy returns he tricks Ralph with a life-like dummy. He explains that he let Ralph believe Clark was Superboy to convince him to drop the act. Ralph agrees to return to the reformatory. After his experience in Smallville he also changes his bad behavior and is soon taken in by a foster family.
