Synopsis:
When a gang of dognappers threaten Metropolis, Superman captures them. However, police are unable to arrest the crooks without proof that the dogs were actually stolen. Superman is forced to let them go.

Lois continues to investigate the case and is kidnapped by the gang. Her dog Flip, having learned that Clark is Superman, summons the Man of Steel to help. He leads Superman to the dognappers. With the help of Flip and Herman the dog catcher, Superman is able to save Lois. Superman then forces the crooks to sign a confession by threatening them with a rabid dog.

After the adventure, Flip tells the neighborhood dogs the story.
