Synopsis:
Superboy flies into deep space in order to divert a runaway sun. When he returns to Earth he resumes his Clark Kent identity, but an after-effect of handling the sun causes him to lose his memory.

When Superboy appears to be missing, Professor Wilson constructs a Superboy robot to fool crooks into thinking the Boy of Steel is still on patrol. Gang leader Angles Anthony deduces that Superboy is just a robot and plants a camera in the robot's chest.

Meanwhile, Clark tries to remember who he really is. When he finds that he is wearing an indestructible Superboy costume, he tracks down the robot, not realizing it isn't the real Superboy. Clark reveals his identity, which the crooks see with their camera. A lightning bolt then strikes Clark, restoring his memory.

Superboy then constructs a Clark Kent robot to fool the crooks. He apprehends them and uses the robot to keep his identity a secret.
