Synopsis:
Publicity man Abner Hokum uses trickery to get Superman to make an appearance at a department store. When Superman catches on, he vows to get even. Hokum then tricks Superman into performing at a circus. Finally, he tricks the Man of Steel into making ashtrays to sell. The final trick backfires though as the Man of Steel alters Hokum’s plan. The man learns his lesson and decides to get a job for a legitimate ad agency.
