Comments:
This is the final Golden Age appearance of Wildcat. Wildcat appears next in Brave and the Bold #62. An unpublished Golden Age Wildcat story featuring the Huntress appeared in DC 100-Page Super Spectacular #6. It may have been intended for Sensation Comics #91, but was not included in the final publication.

Synopsis:
Creeps Handley escapes jail and tracks down three fellow criminals to hide him. One of the crooks, Brak, believes Handley has led the police to the hide-out, so he throws Handley to his death.

Before dying Handley mentioned a valuable item still inside his jail cell. The other crooks break into the jail to steal it. Wildcat witnesses the break-in and tries to stop them. After nearly being killed, Wildcat defeats the crooks and recovers the item in Handley's cell, engraving plates to print hundred dollar bills.
