Synopsis:
Lois Lane learns that Superman is keeping a secret treasure hoard in the mountains. Unable to believe that her hero has become a miser, she seeks out several charity organizers to see if the Man of Steel plans to make a donation. She is distraught to learn that he does not.

Upon reading an article about the treasure, crooks begin converging on Superman’s vault in order to steal the treasure. Superman defends the hoard against looters, until a bridge collapse lures him away.

The bridge was cut using an atomic torch to weaken it. Superman had known that the torch was stolen and built the treasure vault to lure the thief into exposing himself. The thief penetrates the vault and captures Lois, but Superman outwits him and then donates the money to charity.
