Clark Kent arrives late to a science exam because he was busy with his Superboy duties. One student, Charley Hendricks, brags about cheating on the test. Clark tries using his powers to thwart Charley's cheating, but the student has too many tricks. Charley gets the highest grade on the exam, while Clark gets the worst.

Clark decides to teach Charley a lesson as Superboy. He takes Charley on a trip which challenges him to use the knowledge of science he was supposed to know from the test. When Charley can't meet the challenge he confesses to the class and teacher that he cheated. Superboy is proud that Charley finally acted honestly. Another boy, Fred, is then awarded a scholarship.
