Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty are rescued from a street fight by Professor Kenton. The Professor explains that his timely arrival was possible with the help of a time machine. The detectives then join Kenton on a trip to two billion A.D.

When they arrive Slam and Shorty are taken prisoner by a bird carrying a net. They are brought before three future men, who want Slam to help them escape the authorities. Slam won't help them, so one of the crooks attempts to kill Shorty. Slam is then captured by law enforcement agents from the future. Shorty is also taken into custody as they try to get him medical attention before he really does die.
