Synopsis:
The Viking Prince and his friend, the mute bard, encounter a whirlpool. Jon is pulled underwater. As he drowns, he sees a woman breathing underwater. When she touches him, Jon is also able to breathe in the water.

The woman is Merla, the princess of the lake. Jon agrees to help her regain her castle from the evil Trukka, a sorcerer. With a kiss, Merla bestows Jon with the power to breathe underwater even when they aren't touching. Jon then overcomes several dangers before finally encountering and defeating Trukka. Jon bids Merla farewell, then returns to the surface.
