Synopsis:
Clark Kent sends a letter to Superman c/o the Daily Planet urging the Man of Steel to stop him from killing Perry White. Everytime he is in his civilian identity, Clark tries to murder Perry. When he changes to Superman, he remembers nothing that occurred.

The attempts to kill Perry are not serious however as Clark is intentionally failing. He eventually succeeds in his real mission, shooting holes in a metal plaque which contains the signatures of both his identities. His strange behavior was caused by an Atlantean artifact which had come into contact with his glasses. After the danger has passed, Superman destroys the artifact. Perry believes that Clark was hypnotized by criminals.
