Synopsis:
Jimmy Olsen takes a military strategy test. The vibrations of his signal watch cause the computer to malfunction. As a result Jimmy scores better than even the great military leaders. Jimmy is then asked to lead a unit in military war games.

Jimmy develops some strategies to overcome each obstacle he encounters, but they are misguided. Superman secretly intervenes however making Jimmy seem brilliant. After three such exercises, Superman reveals himself and explains that some spies were watching the exercises. Superman hoaxed them into taking poorly designed strategies back to their leaders. Jimmy then returns to his job at the Daily Planet.
