Synopsis:
While Clark Kent is away on vacation, crooks learn that Superboy is out of town. They begin raiding Smallville with a series of crimes. Zorar, a master puppeteer, uses a lifesize Superboy puppet in an attempt to stop the crooks. The crooks soon realize that the puppet is not the real Boy of Steel. They capture Zorar and force him to use the puppet to help them by interfering with police.

The real Superboy returns to town when he hears about the crime wave. Zorar signals him and gives him information about the next crime the gang is going to commit. Superboy apprehends the crooks and thanks Zorar for his assistance.
