Synopsis:
Ray Palmer is contacted by the police to help solve the puzzle of the Hyper-Thief. The crook claims to use hyper-space to commit safe robberies. With the help of his lab assistant, Ray pinpoints a frequency spike at the time of the robberies. Then as the Atom he zeros in on the source of the frequency at the next robbery. Atom finds the Hyper-Thief and defeats him. Then he shows the police that the crook was not using Hyper-Space at all. The frequency triggered secret panels inside the victims' safes. The stolen loot was still inside the safe, only hidden, waiting to be picked up later by the thief.
