Synopsis:
Jimmy and Clark investigate a river rumored to be a branch of the legendary Styx river which grants invulnerability to those who bathe in it. Clark falls in and when Jimmy finds out he is invulnerable believes in the magic of the river. Jimmy also jumps into the water forcing Superman to use his powers to make Jimmy seem invulnerable.

Jimmy travels around town interviewing several daredevils. Superman must follow him to prevent Jimmy from becoming injured. Jimmy is at last caught in an explosion which Superman is unable to prevent. However, the river really did give Jimmy invulnerability allowing him to escape unharmed. The effects eventually wear off and Superman creates an earthquake, permanently sealing the river off from the world.
