Synopsis:
The Challengers are lured to a mob-controlled amusement park. The mobsters have hired Villo, the self-proclaimed vilest villain in the world, to eliminate them. Villo plans to use one of the Challengers own members to kill the others. He captures all of them except Rocky, then rigs their cells to explode. When Rocky attempts to rescue Ace, the bomb should go off, but instead a chemical reaction turns Ace into a giant monster.
Villo retreats and regroups with his partner Brainex, a thinking computer. They capture Ace and brainwash him, then send him against the other Challs. He attacks them at Challenger Mountain, where he causes an explosion. The Challs escape safely, though their headquarters is destroyed.
The Challs track down Villo at his mobile headquarters. All of them except Prof are captured. Prof disables Brainex, then changes Ace back to normal. He frees the other Challengers, but Villo and Brainex escape.
