Synopsis:
Criminals print a magazine article which paints the Flash as a menace and makes the hero believe that he is unwanted. Flash decides to retire, and a new hero Muscleman takes up the mantle as Keystone’s hero.

Dapper Don, the criminal behind the magazine article, takes advantage of the new hero by using a robot Djinn and a phony Muscleman to carry out crimes. Flash secretly assists Muscleman and eventually learns that Muscleman is really Blinky Toylan, the dimwit.

Flash makes an official comeback from retirement to capture Dapper Don with the assistance of the Dimwits. The magazine editor also apologizes for the inflamatory article.
