Synopsis:
A pirate calling himself Captain Cutlass roams the seas using modern reproductions of ancient ships outfitted with modern weapons and gadgets. Cutlass encounters the Blackhawks and is able to defeat them. To attract the pirate again, the Blackhawks place a phony story about a shipment of gold bullion in the newspaper. When Cutlass tries to hijack the vessel, the Blackhawks are on hand to fight him. However, they fail and two of their planes are shot down.
The pilots land in the water and make their way to a life raft. Cutlass intends to intercept the raft and take prisoners. However, under the raft is a submarine carrying the other Blackhawks. The surprise maneuver gives the Blackhawks the upper hand, and they finally apprehend Cutlass.
