Synopsis:
The Blackhawks pursue the Railroad Rogues, a gang that uses trains to escape from crime scenes. Chuck's plane is shot down, while Blackhawk loses track of the gang in a smoke screen. Blackhawk is puzzled by the disappearance of the gang, but he returns to Blackhawk Island with the team.

During subsequent battles with the Rogues, Blackhawk is harsh on his teammates. He punishes them for their mistakes and is cruel. When Chuck appears to be cowardly, Blackhawk sentences him to death. The other Blackhawks plan to mutiny, but Chuck cracks first and admits that he is an imposter.

The Blackhawks finally track down the Rogues. The real Chuck is rescued from their hide-out. Blackhawk had deduced that one of the team was an imposter, so he became a tyrant to expose the traitor.
