Queen Killer Shark is cured in this story and resumes her identity as Lady Blackhawk.

Synopsis:
The Blackhawks are blackmailed into protecting notorious criminal Jolly Roger in fear that his death will cuase disasters all over the world. While protecting the crook from assassins, the Blackhawks are injured one-by-one. Blackhawk finally discovers that Queen Killer Shark is responsible for the attacks. While battling with him, Queen Killer Shark strikes her head. The blow cures her of her criminal behavior and she resumes her role as Lady Blackhawk.

Jolly Roger then reveals that he is an imposter. He is really Mr. Delta an agent of G.E.O.R.G.E., a secret organization government organization. The Blackhawks have failed a test to see if their skills were capable of handling modern advances. The Justice League concurs with Mr. Delta, and the Blackhawks are declared washed-up.

Blackhawk makes an attempt to redeem the team in another test. Mr. Delta has them face a robot called the Champ. The robot attacks the weakness of each team member and easily defeats them. Blackhawk asks for additional time for the Blackhawks to make a come back.
