Comments:
This issue features four DC artists sent to draw the adventures of the Sea Devils. The artists that appear in this story must be the Earth-1 counterparts to the real artists. Readers are also invited to vote for their favorite artist or artist team.
Synopsis:
The Sea Devils are joined on three missions by artists from DC Comics. Joe Kubert is witness to Dane’s defeat of a pirate sub to avenge his ancestor’s honor. Gene Colan watches the Sea Devils travel back in time to aid a Greek king defeat a Persian fleet. Finally, Ross Andru and Mike Esposito are present when the Sea Devils are abducted by an alien fisherman, only to escape with the secret of the missing ship the Marie Celeste.
