Synopsis:
Lana Lang has come to Metropolis, but is now broke. Lois Lane offers to help. Lois gets Lana a job at the Planet and lets her stay at her apartment. Lois is jealous of a ring that Superman gave Lana, when he was Superboy, so Superman makes a ring for Lois.

Over the next few days, Lana sabotages Lois’s every attempt to be with Superman. Lois is upset with Superman for falling for Lana’s tricks. Lois throws the ring Superman gave her away. Superman then reveals that Lana’s actions were a plan to get her to remove the ring, as the ring would explode if Superman used his X-ray vision. The girls are left to wonder which of them Superman likes the most.
