Synopsis:
A series of giant spider-webs begin appearing in the sky. Each disappears, taking planes, trains, and buildings with them. Doc Magnus and the Metal Men fly into one of the webs and discover it is a space warp. The Metal Men find the missing objects and people on a planet inhabited by giant robot spiders. They rescue the people with the jetaway, but are captured in a spider web themselves.
The queen of the spiders hypnotizes Doc and marries him. Tina and Nameless trick the other spiders into releasing the other Metal Men. They defeat the spiders and rescue Doc from the black widow queen. The jetaway with the people inside return in time to rescue Doc and the robots. Then they return home via the space warp.
